What You Should Know When Buying Polo Shirts!

There is a wide selection of different, unique, types of fabric that you are available to choose from.

Types Of Fabrics

  • Jersey Knit
This type of material is a dimensional weave with a smooth finish thats very similar to a standerd T-shirt.
  • Polyester
Synthetic fabric thats strong, durable, and high in strength. Known for the higher quality look, polyester fabrics are often used in severel different types of quick-dry and care free shirts.
  • Pique Knit
Real fine textured surface that looks very similar to a waffle weave. This is the most common fabric thats used in Polo Shirts.

Information About The Garments

  • Fabric Density and Material Weight
In the product description you will generally see Material Weight mentioned in ounces. Dont be fooled in thinking a heavier shirt means higher quality in fabric. The overall life expectencey of the shirt will increase due to the wieght of the shirt, but the absolute best answer in finding a good quality shirt is generally determanied by the price.
  • Fading
You might find yourself wearing your old work attire that seems to be losing its color, 100% cotton shirts will be the number one contender for fading over a long period of time. To keep your longterm investment of your garments looking the best, an mixture of polyester is recommended by most manufactures.
  • Shrinking
This is a common concern that averyone worrys about. Every shirt will have a minimal amount of shrinkage, even if the label says preshrunk! You could see a range between 3mm-10mm in overall shrinkage in most cotton shirts.
  • Sizing
Sizing verys from brand to brand. All of our products that are currently listed on our site are True To Size, this means if you where a curtian size such as a small shirt, then simply choose the small shirt. If we find that one of are items are not true to size, we add comments about the sizing under item descriptions.
